February 20, 2 PM - The Nerman Gallery. "A Match Made in Heaven” exhibition with fashion designer and contemporary artist known for colorful, energetic works, Katherine Bernhardt and Jeremy Scott. Docent-led tour. Guests invited.
March 27, 2 PM - National Museum of Miniatures and Toys: “Local Artists Go Miniature.” Exhibit of fine-scale miniature works by area artists who were inspired by everything from Louis XV’s study at Versailles to an Art Deco bathroom. Docent-led tour. Members only.
April 17, 3:30 PM - Shelly Pinto Studio visit. Artist’s Statement: “Patterns, colors and shapes provide links to my history, environment and my inner thoughts. I begin my mixed media paintings by mixing colors, cutting shapes, and overlapping patterns. The fascination with color and movement has always been a part of me” Shelly is a graduate of KCAI with a BFA in Painting. She owns Shizen Design with her husband. Members only.
May 15, 2 pm - Cheryl Eve Acosta Studio, 115 W. 18th Street, Suite 207, KCMO. Cheryl is a prolific, successful jewelry artist located in the Bauer Machine Works Building. There will be opportunities to meet and view works by other artists located in this historic warehouse space located in the Crossroads District. Cheryl Eve’s work has been shown at the National Museum for Women in the Arts in the bi-annual Women to Watch Exhibition. Guests invited. Other adjacent studios the group can tour include:

July 24, 2:00-3:00 pm - Cherry Pit Collective. 604 E. 31st Street (31st and Cherry), KCMO. Kelsey Pike is a production papermaker working under her brand Sustainable Paper + Craft. She specializes in papers specifically designed for artists and makers, made from recycled fabric and other sustainable fibers. She'll be demonstrating hand papermaking and talking about her book Modern Papermaking: Techniques in Handmade Paper. Founded in 2016, Cherry Pit Collective is a communal studio space for artists, makers, and creatives, where the work and vision of women, non-binary and gender non-conforming people are emphasized and celebrated.
September 13, mid-morning. Brush Creek Plein Air event at the Anita Gorman Discovery Center, 4750 Troost, Kansas City, MO (just east of the Plaza). We will listen to Alex Hamil’s presentation about plein air painting then watch several artists engage in plein air painting. We will then gather for lunch.
